I want to show you guys something that I stumbled across the other day that I think is is relevant to the whole concept of link building in general and…
Tanya, I don’t mean to be picking on you but I know your website is new and therefore you don’t have a lot of backlinks and therefore it’s a good example to illustrate this thing I
stumbled across.
So, Tanya is a new member of our community, well I guess since the community is new we’re all new members, but Tanya is a newer new member of the community and this is her website.
So, this is the Google search generative experience in the browser tab.
It’s available in Google Labs.
If you don’t have access to Google Labs currently just go to the Google Labs website and put yourself on the waiting list and at some point you’ll get an email saying okay, you have access now.
And then you have access to the stuff that Google is working on but haven’t yet released to
the entire world.
So the part that I stumbled across that I thought was really interesting is this… About the source.
Google can’t find much info on other sites to help you learn more about this site and it’s the emphasis “of other sites”… the reputation of a website is established by what other websites
say about it.
And I think that’s very relevant and it speaks to the importance of quality backlinks.
High quality backlinks establish a good reputation low quality backlinks establish a not so good reputation.
And I thought this was sufficiently interesting that I’m sharing it.
