Why should your business publish on LinkedIn?

Small business success of content creation is always a hit-or-miss endeavor. This is one reason why it’s necessary to publish content are a variety of subjects you think your desired audience will appreciate it.

To illustrate this point, the most read article on this website describes how to install the Mautic tracking pixel on your WordPress website. That post was written because Mautic (a public domain marketing automation system) documentation is fairly poor and it was considered to be useful to help others who implement Mautic after us to have a source of “how to” documentation. We had no idea this article would be so interesting.

On drcarney.com (a member of our community) their most read article talks about phytic acid and whole grains. They too had no foreknowledge how much that article would be appreciated.

Whether you are creating content about your product or service or (even better) publishing about the issues and problems your crowd experiences, it’s important to contribute to the web at regular and frequent intervals, and on a variety of topics or subjects that you feel are of interest to your desired crowd.

Publishing on LinkedIn is one way to do it.

Then one of the best places to get connected with many people is on LinkedIn.

Not only do many people read contents published on LinkedIn, but LinkedIn long form posts are indexed by Google.

Therefore, publishing on linked serves as a way to reach not only people who follow you on LinkedIn, but the wider group of people who search on the Internet.

 

So how do you start?

Put this strategy into practice, by publishing one or two articles on your LinkedIn account every week. The key here (as with everything) is consistency.

They don’t need to be long, they DO need to be interesting and useful.
