Local SEO Marketiong | SEO vs PPC | The Pareto Principal

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Pareto principle.

80% of your results comes from 20% of your effort.

  • 80% of your revenue comes from 20% of your customers
  • 80% of your sales come from 20% of your sales force
  • etc, etc

The same is true with local SEO marketing.

NOTE: This article is part of a series about local SEO marketing. For access to all the articles in the series, click on the link in the prior sentence.

As stated previously, with SEO every page is a combination advertisement and landing page.

Well……………..

80% of your visitors will be attracted to 20% of your pages.

And of those pages people do see…

80% of your conversions come from 20% of those pages.

This afford the opportunity for comparison.

By using Google Analytics you can determine which pages are visited the most often and which pages are visited the least often.

You can then compare them looking for whatever the difference is that makes a difference.

It’s not always obvious at first, and sometimes no specific pattern emerges, but when you do see a pattern the proper action to take is to clone the style and tone of the most effective pages.

You will find much more information about local SEO marketing by reading the entire series of articles.
