This article is a specific example of building a sales funnel for a Real Estate business, from the bottom up, leading up to the local SEO marketing effort required to drop prospects/residents into your sales funnel.

You wish to grow your email newsletter distribution list at a rate of 100 people per month. We will call these people subscribers.

On average, 1% of visitors who find your website via a Google search provide their email address in order to receive your email newsletter.

In order to obtain 150 new subscribers per month, you need your website to attract 10,000 local visitors per month (or people who plan to move into the area).

In order to attract 10,000 local visitors you need to attract 35,000 total visitors (one third are estimated to be local).

To attract this level of relevant traffic (relevant meaning relevant to your business) you need to consistently publish relevant content, in small chunks, at frequent intervals, or a period of 7 to 12 months.
