Local SEO Marketing | Post Optimization | Use of Images

How does using an image (or two or three) improve both the findability and readability of your web post?

Let me count the ways….. There are two.

#1) Findability

There are people who search for images and who may find your website based on an image search.

This works better for some products and services than others.

If you sell remodeling services or pet products or services or horse riding accessories or lessons the use of images will increase the number of people who find your website when performing an image search.

For less picturesque topics (such as local SEO marketing) the image is less likely to help your blog post be found.

#2) Readability

The image draws the eye and encourages the caption to be read. The caption should therefor ask a question or make a statement and that question or statement should be relevant to the topic of the article.

You should also put the image on the top right of the post, as for some reason that is where readers of the English language  like to find them.
