In this article I explain why inbound leads (which are leads generated from Inbound Marketing which is sometimes referred to as Content Marketing) are not only cheaper but are of better quality.
They are cheaper because what you do to generate them is publish content to your website. Now in the spirit of full disclosure, effective inbound marketing requires the publishing of A LO T of content, but content generation requires no travel, no accommodation, etc, etc.
In these lean economic times most businesses are looking to get more for less, and inbound marketing provides them an opportunity to do so.
However, the real benefit of inbound leads is not JUST that they are cheaper, they are also of much higher quality. The reason this is true is self evident when you stop to thing about it.
By the time you meet your prospect, they have already gone online and did a little research (by virtue of Google searches and reading of web pages) and THEY FOUND YOU by virtue of their research.
Is there any better prospect than a prospect that is already looking for what you offer?
