While there are many success factors to successful Inbound and Content Marketing, there are a few that stand above the rest. A few that all the others rest on, in a manner of speaking.

And perhaps not surprisingly, the number one factor to successful Inbound Marketing is commitment!

When the owners or senior management of your business truly understand the power of Content Marketing, and work to get the buy-in of everybody in the business, amazing things happen.

Of course owner or senior management commitment is not enough.

You must also know how to do it effectively. There is a certain “mechanical” aspect in terms of formatting articles and stories for proper SEO, ensuring content is generated and published at frequent intervals, and having some editorial process (it does not have to be elaborate and can not be allowed to slow things down), but those are the success factors that “rest” on the main one.

When the owners or senior managers are not committed to the effort, priorities are not set in such a way as to allow it to work.
