There are two reasons for this:
- We live in an age of diminishing attention spans. You appeal to people better by keeping it short and to the point.
- That syncs with how we search the web. When is the last time you found your answer on the third screen of a very long web page?
We search the web looking for solutions to problems and answers to questions. As such, you should format your entire website that way.
Create a list of the common questions your prospects and clients as you. If you come up with a list of 93 questions, you’ve defined 93 blog posts waiting to be written.
But won’t this affect my bounce rate?
If someone finds the answer to their question won’t they arrive on page X then immediately leave your site? They might. But on the other hand if they find a good answer on your site, they also might be inclined to see what other questions you asnwer.
For that reason, it always makes sense to run some form of Relate Posts plugin. This way they see the titles of your other posts and see some of the other questions you answer.
I personally prefer “nrelate Related Content” but that is my personal preference. I can’t say it’s necessarily better, I just like it better.
