What is the popular content on your website?

Why does it matter? Should I focus exclusively on that topic?

No you should not, but when you discover that a certain topic is popular, you should maybe provide more detail about that subject. More content, more perspectives, more detail. Not that the topic should dominate your website forever, but clearly you’ve stumbled onto a topic of interest.

How can you know?

Google Analytics has a report under Behavior -> Site Content -> All Pages that tells you.

In the example below, people seem very interested in eggshell paint for bathroom remodels? Why?

If you know a thing or two about paint you know eggshell is a sheen (not a color) that is a little shiny without being too shiny. It’s main advantage is it’s easy to clean.

So it’s likely people are looking for low maintenance solutions for their bathrooms. It might make sense to test this idea by created a series of posts about created low maintenance bathrooms while remodeling.
