This may sound stupid, but once your Inbound Marketing efforts have attracted people to your website via organic search, do not assume they know what action (website conversion) you want them to take.
Assume they need guidance and tell them.
Not only tell them but be specific.
It is not bad form to say things like “Click here now!” or some variant thereof.
I even put a phrase similar to that as the last sentence in the SERP meta description.

What is the psychology behind this? I have no idea, BUT I’ve been told by many do to this, that this helps, and since I started doing it conversions rates have increased.
I’m guessing this works because of what is called decision fatigue.
Studies show (don’t you just love that phrase) that we are only willing to make so many decisions in any given day.
Remove the requirement for your website visitors to make a decision by telling them what to do, and do not be afraid to be blunt.
