You’re doing Inbound Marketing, you’ve attracted an audience, you know your sales funnel, and you know what action you want website visitors to take while on your site.

So how do you get them to take it? For your Call to Action, tell them both what do to, AND how to do it.

Be clear and be obvious.

You can achieve both goals at once through the use of visually obvious call to action buttons that contain text within the button that tells the web visitor what to do. Look at the bottom of the post for an example.

I personally prefer a WordPress plugin titled MaxButtons to create visual obvious Call to Action buttons.

MaxButtons has two advantages I value greatly:

  1. It is really easy to create buttons and insert them into your posts, sidebar widget, etc.
  2. If you need you can completely re-purpose a button by redefining everything about the button without having to edit any of the posts in which the button appears. If a button is used in 500 posts and you wish to change what the button does, you can simply by editing the button. There is not need to edit any of the posts.
