Types of content to produce in your website to generate traffic

How to generate traffic, convert and nurture your customers. Part one

Content marketing for small business can be great at growing your audience and generating leads.

But did you know that there are different types of content you need to provide?  Different types of content serve different purposes.

With your content marketing strategy, you first need to be sure of the kinds of content you need to produce.

Some different purposes of content are: attract visitors, convert website visitors, nurture prospects.

On this post, I am going to take you through the types of contents that attracts visitors to your website.

Blogging (attract traffic)
Blog posts on your website are very good at attracting traffic to your business website. You need to focus on providing useful (but short and focused) articles 2 or 3 times every day.

Landing Pages or Lead Generation Pages (convert visitors)
The purpose of landing pages is for website visitors to gain something of value in exchange for their contact information. When a website visitor leaves their contact information through a landing page, they become a Lead.

Sales Pages content (nurture leads)
After attracting traffic, and converting them into lead, you need to convert them into a customer. This is done one step at a time and is done with a combination of website content and email. You walk the lead through your sales funnel (their decision process) one step at a time.

The final step of course is them becoming a paying customer.
