How to create a landing page that will improve your online presence

For a strong and effective online presence, a good business website is not enough. You need strong and effective landing pages to convert website visitors into leads.

Landing pages are used to turn website visitors into leads by encouraging them to click through to a specific action.

A good landing page has the main message of persuading a visitor to select your call to action. It does this by giving out the benefits of performing this action.

For your landing page to perform its work, you need to drive traffic to it.

You can send your landing page to your subscribers through email marketing, send your link to social media network, and you can also add a link to your landing page in your blog posts.

So how do you create a working landing page?

The following are some of the basic points you need to keep in mind when creating your landing page.

Have a clear goal when creating your landing page. Understand what you’re offering, what the benefits to the visitor are, and be terse in your descriptions. We tend to scan landing pages quickly to see if the topic is of interest to us. So getting the point quickly is MUCH better than using lots of words.

With landing pages less is definitely more.

Your landing page should have a clear direction.  A call to action (CTA) button should be placed promptly with clear instructions of the actions you want your visitors to take.

Examples of CTA messages might be:

  • Download the eBook
  • Register for the Webinar
  • Access the white paper

One thing you need to always remember is that your landing page should show the value of taking the action.

In conclusion, landing pages are very important to small businesses and they are relatively easy to make.
