The main point of this video is when you are curating somebody else’s content, never pretend that you aren’t.
You found it some place, you used it, give credit where credit is due.
It’s not only the right thing to do from an ethical perspective, but every blog post needs an external link, and when you’re curating somebody else’s content, you’ve got your source of reference built in.
So it’s both the right thing to do, and it provides a positive benefit to the SEO profile of your website.
