How do you use YouTube to enhance being found via organic search?

I’m Kevin Carney with Inbound Marketing University with today’s Inbound Marketing Minute.
Today’s topic is the use of YouTube and video for your Inbound Marketing.
Everyone knows Google is the most widely used search engine.
People are often surprised to find the second most widely used search engine is YouTube.
I saw a marketing guy who has a YouTube channel who explained how by publishing a video a day he was (over the course of 6 years) able to attract over 60 million views to his YouTube channel, and how these views brought in significant business to his business.
And it doesn’t take a lot of equipment.
Probably the most complex part of it is getting the lighting setup right.
But a laptop, a webcam, a relatively inexpensive clip on microphone, and you’re good to go.
The most important thing of course is to say something that answers a question or makes an important point, and is useful information to your desired audience.
I strongly recommend you guys start cranking out little, I call them explainer videos, but little explainer videos that explain things to your crowd, and you’ll be surprised how quickly people start to show up, and watch, and share, your videos.
So in summary, it doesn’t take a lot of effort. It is something new to learn and it takes some effort, but it doesn’t take a lot of effort.
You get into a rhythm, similar to blogging, and as with blogging and everything in life, the key to success is consistency and persistence.
So you don’t want to do just a couple of videos and then say “Oh, it didn’t work” and give up.
Keep generating, you know, 2, 3, 4, 5 videos every week, whatever is a comfortable pace for you, and keep at it until your desired audience shows up in enough numbers to make it work for you.
