Truer words were never spoken.
If your social media marketing only talks about how good you are, your audience will eventually (probably quickly) tune you out.
They do need to trust that what you say is true and that y0u can help them, but that is not the same as blathering on endlessly about you.
Zippe.biz provides Local SEO Marketing training, consulting, and implementation.
Having said that, it’s surprising how many business don’t seem to get this.
When you publish articles to your website as part of your Inbound Marketing efforts, you need to talk to your customers about them. I don’t mean to be rude, but they are concerned about themselves and they don’t care a fig about you.
People want their problems solved. Your customers want their problems solved.
When you solve their problem in way that works for both them and you, you have a viable business.
Since this is what’s important to your customers, focus your marketing copy (your blog posts) in this way.
Talk directly to them, about solutions to their problems, then let them know you can solve their problems and maybe they should contact you.
For example, when your business needs more web traffic, more leads, and more business, you should talk to us, as we know how to do that.
