Although some people do generate real leads via those websites, the ROI is terrible. For the effort you put into it, you’ll generate many more leads via what is called Inbound Marketing, which is just a fancy phrase for Blogging.
Why is this so? Because business blogging (when done right) attracts people to your website via organic search, AND people who show up via organic search HAVE an interest in your products or services. If they did not, they would never show up.
The absolute MOST convertible audience you will ever have are the people who show up via organic search, via what we call Inbound Marketing, or SEO Marketing.
When you’re tempted to spend time generate a new Facebook update or to send out a tweet, publish a blog post instead. The more often you do that, the better results you’ll get.
