Frequently update and create fresh content for your website

While keyword do still matter, frequency of publishing matters more. Publish often. This will help you to increase your rankings on search engines.

Link building

Approach other businesses where you can exchange links. What makes the most sense are businesses with whom you share a customer (for example CPAs and insurance companies) and businesses that don’t compete because of geography (home re modelers working in two different cities).

Social media presence

On your Facebook page and other social media networks, create attractive content that your desired audience will find of value.

Create a personal yet professional LinkedIn profile

LinkedIn has a great feature called groups. Use groups to contribute to discussions and also provide important content. This will raise awareness of you and your business while also attracting eyeballs to content on your website.

The above methods will through consistency and persistence drive traffic to your business website.
