Converting Website Visitors into Customers: Tell Them What to Do

The prior post in this series provided an overview of local SEO marketing website conversion for your travel business.

This post focuses on the first conversion principal, which is to tell your website visitors what specific action you wish them to take.

Do not assume they will know, or they will figure it out.

This is done via what is named a Call to Action.

This article is part of a series of how to use Local SEO Marketing to generate leads for your travel business. For access to the main post, select the link in the prior sentence.

A Call to Action is nothing more than you telling your visitors what to do.

Examples of effective Calls to Actions are:

  • Click here now to sign up
  • Contact Us Today
  • Subscribe to Our Newsletter

They are all clear statements of what you want them to do.

I don’t want to excessively belabor this point, but never assume your website visitors will know what it is you want them to do. You must tell them and you must tell them in every post.

For shorter posts, tell them once, at the end.

For longer posts, tell them more than once such that one CTA (Call to Action) is visible on the screen at all times.
