How do you capitalize on social media marketing and use it to generate quality leads for your business?
By combining it with the creation of original content where your content (that lives on your website under your URL) is front and center, and you use social media to share what you’ve written with the world.
Connect
Look for people who have common interests and have problems you provide solutions to. At this stage, you are not making any sales, simply connecting with your customers and starting to build a strong relationships with them.
When connecting with your crowd on social media, focus on what they need and periodically share how you solve their issues. But…. DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR AND YOUR BUSINESS.
Listen
As your prospects are communicating, listen. By doing this you will be able to learn what is important though what and how they communicate. The main consideration here is to understand your prospects through listening.
Prospect
Start by understanding your potential customers who exists, and establish the reason behind them buying from you. The next step is to find prospects who have the same characteristics as your existing customers and then to connect with them
Engage
Now that you have connected and listened with your prospects, the time to engage with them has arrived. Start participating and commenting on their social media posts.
Use relevant content to properly engage with them.
Add Value
Everyone says to add value, but what does that really mean? It means to answer questions and to provide useful information.
At this point, start educating people who are asking questions. When you do so, ask questions to encourage discussion. Don’t preach. That turns people off.
Demonstrate the value by sharing your content and be very strategic about it.
Post content that you feel that your prospects will find it valuable.
