All users are required to adhere to these Terms of Use. If we become aware that a user has violated the Terms of Use or other posted Inbound Marketing University policies, that user's account may be immediately and permanently suspended, without warning or other notice at our sole discretion.

In order to use these forums, users are required to provide a username, password and e-mail address. Neither the Administrators of these forums, or any participating Moderators, are responsible for the privacy practices of any user. Remember that all information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to share any of your personal information. Any user who finds material posted by another user objectionable is encouraged to contact us via e-mail. Inbound Marketing University is hereby granted permission to access Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools and whatever additional Analytic tools Inbound Marketing University may choose to employ at any time.

Members will supply Inbound Marketing University with access to their website Analytics.

Additionally, Inbound Marketing University is also hereby granted permission to link to or reference content on the Member’s website in order to illustrate examples of successful implementation of online marketing methods.

Your Registration and User Account

  • The registration information that you provide to Inbound Marketing University is considered private and personal between you and Inbound Marketing University, and is governed by the Inbound Marketing University Privacy Policy. All user accounts are governed by and subject to the following rules:

Use of your account is expressly limited to you. Your account may not be transferred or shared with any other party, temporarily or permanently.

Inbound Marketing University access is limited to persons age 18 and over.

You agree to bear sole responsibility for all use of your account and for the confidentiality of your password. To protect your privacy, Inbound Marketing University may suspend access or change access to your account immediately upon discovery that your account has been accessed by another person, or upon notification by you that your password has been lost, stolen or otherwise compromised.

As a condition of service, all active Members of Inbound Marketing University are required to receive routine and important "Member service" announcements, via email, from Inbound Marketing University. Member service email from Inbound Marketing University may not be considered "spam" or blocked or blacklisted on any Internet blacklist service. If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure (for example, in the event of a loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of your ID, password or any credit, debit or charge card number stored on the Service), you must promptly change your password and notify Inbound Marketing University of the problem by giving notice via e-mail to [email protected]

Rules of Online Behavior

Inbound Marketing University does not screen or edit messages posted in message boards, comments made in chat rooms, blog entries, or any other user-created content. However, Inbound Marketing University reserves the right to monitor said content and to remove any objectionable material at any time, in our sole discretion. Removal of Posts

No Obscene or Hateful Language

We live by words online, so we don't allow obscene, profane, racist, or sexually explicit language. You may not harass, defame, or threaten another person. We do not allow posts that defame or insult anyone, or notes that are abusive or hateful. All postings must reflect your genuinely held beliefs and may not be false or misleading.

No Solicitations or Advertisements

You may not post any content for commercial purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, advertisements for your business and solicitations for a charity. Unfortunately, it is impossible to verify the validity of each and every organization that solicits donations; therefore, in an effort to protect Inbound Marketing University users from fraud, we must prohibit solicitations for charities.

Images must be relevant to the context of the question or point being addressed.

Participation Agreements

By participating in any service of Inbound Marketing University, you agree not to engage in computer activity commonly known as a Denial of Service attack.   • When you submit material to the discussion forum or blog, write any articles, tutorials, or other material— wherever you own copyright to the material, you assign all rights of use that subsists in such material to Inbound Marketing University;
  • You are responsible for protecting confidentiality of your password;
  • You will not upload or transmit any material or information that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, unlawful, vulgar, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or discriminating;
  • You agree not to disrupt the flow or dialogue or otherwise act in any manner that negatively affects other ss;
  • You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity;
  • You agree not to upload or transmit any unsolicited advertising or promotional material;
  • Any material that you upload may be removed by us from the discussion forum without notice at any time;
  • You will not uploaded or transmit any material in which copyright is owned by another person or entity and you warrant that all material uploaded is your material and not sourced from any third party;

  • We do not make any representations or warranties that the information we, you, other Members, or generally information available in the discussion forum is reliable, accurate or complete or that your access to the discussion forums will be uninterrupted, timely, or secure. We are not liable for any loss resulting from any action taken or reliance made by you on any information or material that we may provide;

Unauthorized Commercial Usage

Message boards, Web pages, chat rooms, blogs, and other services provided by Inbound Marketing University may not be used for unauthorized commercial purposes, including participation in any affiliate program. If, in the sole discretion of Inbound Marketing University, you are found to be using Inbound Marketing University for any inappropriate commercial purpose, Inbound Marketing University reserves the right to take action to end such activity.

Membership Termination

Inbound Marketing University may terminate your Membership if it believes, in its sole discretion, that you have violated any of the terms of this agreement, or that you have engaged in any behavior that Inbound Marketing University believes, in its sole discretion, is harmful to the operation of Inbound Marketing University.

Representations, Warranties, and Acknowledgements

Inbound Marketing University does not endorse, and specifically disclaims any responsibility or liability for, any content on any message board or blog, in any chat room, on any web page, or on any other content on Inbound Marketing University. Inbound Marketing University makes no representations about the reliability of services provided by Inbound Marketing University or by any third party provider, and disclaims all liability in the event of any service failure. You acknowledge that your reliance on any material and/or systems will be at your own risk. Inbound Marketing University makes no representations regarding the amount of time that forums, chat rooms, blogs, message board discussions, uploaded files, or any other content will be preserved by Inbound Marketing University.

New Membership Programs

Inbound Marketing University reserves the right to add new Membership programs and to change the terms of existing Membership programs at any time. These modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in the service, product offerings, price, or administration of the program. Not all products are available for all platforms, clients, or browsers. Inbound Marketing University will announce any change in the price of the program on its website prior to any such change taking effect.

Assignment of Rights

By posting on message boards, forums, or blogs, participating in chat rooms, or creating any other content (excluding private email communication), you will be deemed to have granted Inbound Marketing University perpetual, non-exclusive permission to redistribute by transmission the information or materials worldwide without charge or liability.

Sole Remedy

If you are dissatisfied with any feature, operability, contents, this agreement, other agreements Inbound Marketing University imposes as a condition of usage, or any other component of the Inbound Marketing University Web site, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of Inbound Marketing University services.

Affiliates and/or Partnerships

If ordering merchandise and/or services from anyone other than Inbound Marketing University, through any commercial service offered via an official Inbound Marketing University partnership or affiliate, via Inbound Marketing University, all transaction terms including but not limited to purchase terms, payment terms, warranties, guarantees, maintenance, and delivery, are solely between you and the seller of the merchandise or services. Inbound Marketing University makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with regard to any goods or services provided by the seller of the merchandise or services and shall not be liable for the costs or damages arising, either directly or indirectly, from the products or services or from the actions or inactions of the Seller.

Services Provided

Inbound Marketing University services are provided on an “as is, as available” basis. No warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are made with respect to any of Inbound Marketing University’s products or services. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall Inbound Marketing University be liable for any damages, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use Inbound Marketing University’s products or services. Nor shall Inbound Marketing University be held responsible for damages of any kind whatsoever that result from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, defects, errors, delays in transmission or operation or any failure in performance regardless of the cause.

No Refund

We have a “no refund” policy regarding all and any products and services we offer presently or may offer in the future.


You agree to indemnify and hold Inbound Marketing University, its parents, subsidiaries, officers and employees, harmless from any claims and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, related to your violation of this Agreement, including any abusive or unlawful behavior on the part of you or your dependents, or the infringement of any intellectual property or privacy right of any person. You shall remain solely liable for the Content you upload or transmit to any Forum, blog, message board, chat room or any interactive areas on the Site. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inbound Marketing University from any claim, action, demand, loss, expense or damages (including attorneys' fees) made or incurred by any third party arising out of or relating to your conduct, your violation of these terms and conditions, or your violation of any rights of a third party. In the event that you have a dispute with one or more users, you release Inbound Marketing University (and our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.


Inbound Marketing University may, at any time, modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement by posting such changes on the Inbound Marketing University web site. If you do not agree to the changes, your only remedy is to cancel your Inbound Marketing University Membership.

Governance and Interpretation

This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Texas. This Agreement will in all events be construed as a whole, according to its fair meaning, and not strictly for or against a party merely because that party (or the party's legal counsel) drafted the Agreement. The headings, captions, and titles in this legal Agreement are merely for reference and do not define, limit, extend, or describe the scope of this Agreement or any provision herein. Unless the context requires otherwise, (a) the gender (or lack of gender) of all words used in this Agreement includes the masculine, feminine, and neuter, and (b) the word including means including without limitation.

Assignment of Rights

Inbound Marketing University may assign this Agreement, or any rights or obligations hereunder, (by operation of law or otherwise) without the prior written consent of its Members. This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of, and be binding on, permitted assigns and successors of Inbound Marketing University.


In the event that any provision is determined to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall nonetheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

Amendments and Waivers

Any failure on the part of Inbound Marketing University to insist upon or enforce or to exercise any right under this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of Inbound Marketing University's right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance, and the same shall be and remain in full force and effect. In the event that any published statements, other agreements, or other official policies of Inbound Marketing University may conflict with any of the terms contained in this document (Terms of Service) the terms of this document shall govern.

Dispute resolution

Any dispute or claim arising under or relating to this Agreement or breach thereof shall be settled promptly by mediation in the City of Austin, Texas, provided, however, that the mediator shall have no authority to add to, modify, change or disregard any lawful terms of this agreement. The parties shall each pay their respective costs and fees of any mediation or arbitration. Any disputes pertaining to this agreement that cannot be settled amicably between the parties or via mediation shall be submitted to an arbitrator under the Rules of the American Arbitration Association in the City of Austin, Texas. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction over the subject matter of the controversy.


Privacy Agreement

To post messages on the Inbound Marketing University blogs or forums, you must register as a Member.  When you register, you must choose a unique user name and you must provide a unique and valid email address.  Duplicate user names and email addresses are not allowed, so if the name or address you enter is already in use, you will be prompted to choose another one.  To prevent any Member from using another’s username, each Member’s account is password protected with email verification.

For your safety and privacy, please do not post personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers, last names, or any other private information. Inbound Marketing University will strive to protect the privacy of all Members who abide by these Terms of Service. However, at its sole discretion and especially in cases of abusive, libelous, illegal, and/or malicious behavior on the part of a Member, Inbound Marketing University may release certain Membership information to appropriate parties when directed by law, through reasonable settlement of litigation against Inbound Marketing University if served notice of such malicious behavior through a competent court, or for other such legitimate reasons to be determined on a case-by-case basis solely at the discretion of Inbound Marketing University.
