who is responsible for measuring the customer satisfaction in your organization?

Google Search Quality Ratings: Clear and Satisfying Website Information: Who is Responsible and Customer Service

This post is a part of a series of posts that informs you as to how Google defines quality in respect to web pages

Google defines something they call E-A-T (Expertiese, Authority, and Trust) and important components of a high ranking website.

As an example, what Google defines as YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) pages, require a high degree of trust, as the users are expected to pay for something through these websites.

So understanding who is responsible for a website is a critical part of assessing E-A-T for websites.

High quality websites must have clear information about the website, and who is responsible for the website, so that users feel comfortable trusting the site.

Additionally, stating who is responsible for customer service should be clearly stated on your website.

The following is true of all websites, but is especially true of websites through which users buy stuff.

An About page that instills credibility

Google wants the information on these pages to to be clear and contain contact information.

The about page also gives you an opportunity to display social proof.

The about page on your website has an impact on how Google perceives the “Trust” part of E-A-T and for that reason has an impact on your sites SEO ranking.

Include links to privacy policies and contact pages

Your prospects need to know how you will protect information they enter into your site. If your site asks for credit card information from your users, then privacy policies and contact pages are even more important.
