How Marketing Automation Converts Contacts into Leads for Your Small Business

Most of Us Do Not Buy Right Away

In fact 67% of prospects don’t buy right away.

When you don’t stay in touch with these people, they buy from someone else.

Staying in touch with them is called Lead Nurturing.

Automating this process is called Marketing Automation.

It’s a way of staying in touch with leads in a highly personalized way, based on what actions they did and did not take as they move through your sales funnel.

Marketing automation software allows you to create a series of “if… then…” statements which is where the personalization comes in.

You define a marketing automation flow, and when someone enters your sales funnel (typically by filling out a form in exchange for something – an eBook perhaps), they then receive a series of email’s.

The specific email’s they receive in the specific sequence is the result of the actions they do and do not take.

That in a nutshell is marketing automation.
