How to create an SEO friendly website content

How to create an SEO friendly content for businesses

Creating content for your small business website can be fruitful. It gets the attention of the search engines and helps people learn about and relate to your business.

When your audience and customers like your blog post, they will share it on other networks.

This will expose your content to more people, who in turn may share and/or comment, thereby improving your search ranking on search engines.

However, you must keep your blog post Search Engine Optimization friendly in order to get the attention of the search engines.

So what does this mean? How do you create a search engine optimization friendly post?

Here are some essential tips:

Keywords

Focus on long tail keywords while writing your website blog. Limit the number of times you use your keywords in your content because you can get penalized by search engines for overuse. Your keyword should appear no more than 2 or 3 times for every 100 words of text.

So how do you position your keyword?

  • Title: Your keywords must be within 60 characters. As your customers and audience go through your blog post tittle, your title should contain your desired keyword, near the front.
  • Body: Your keywords must be added in the body of your post.
  • Permalink: It should also appear in the permalink (URL) of the blog post. The easy way to do this is for the permalink to be the title of the post.

Image Optimization

For Search Engine Optimization purposes, include images in your business website blog post.

But the search engines will not be able to notice images without the ALT text and the description. Therefore remember to include them.
