Every action you take on social networks should be a part of an entire social media marketing strategy. This is sometimes viewed as a complicated idea by business owners, but if you take your time to create a solid social media plan, the rest of your social efforts will follow on their own. You’ll see what to do and when.

Develop your product position based on benefits your customers
For small businesses, it is of importance describe your products benefits rather than synthesizing them. Consider describing your products or services by either giving full benefits of using your product (1st choice) or explaining your products features (2nd choice).

Please don’t feel slightly by this next comment, but your prospects and customer care more about how you can help them, than they do about you.

Spread your content to your consumer
You may want your small business website to capture data, or simply demonstrate your product, but you should not just assume your customer will right away come to your website.

Growing your audience via organic search traffic takes time, and in the mean time uyou need to go to these online platforms and share your content where your prospects spend their time online. Engaguing with them first on social networks will help attract visitors, likes, and links to your site.

Connect with your customers  
Whether you do it on a social media network or on your businesses website, it’s important to invite your customers to talk to you and each other and to share ideas. Allow them to guide one another on how they use your product or service.

Develop relationships with the right bloggers
Every small business joining the market wants to be at the top. Some influencial bloggers can help you get there.

A little research on who those people are in your industry and a little time spent in outreach to those people can go a long way. For example, they have built an audience. Them linking to your business website will increase your search rankings.

But again, bear in mind they don’t want to hear about you, they want to hear about what you might be able to do to help them.
