Social media marketing for small businesses. How to widen your audience

How to broaden your audience using social media marketing

Social media gained roots just ten years ago. But now, businesses and all kind of organizations must depend on social media to see their success.

Your small business also need to incorporate social media marketing for you achieve your set goals and objectives and see your success.

Small businesses consider social media marketing as an expensive marketing strategy that needs a high budget.

BUT… I tell you it is possible to expand your small business successfully using social media strategies and broaden your audience on a reasonable budget!

Consider the following when working on your social media strategy.

Start a viral campaign

It’s easy to say this, but not as easy to do this. People have done studies about what triggers social media updates to go viral, and while there are common aspects to viral social media updates (humor being one), very few updates that contain all aspects do in fact go viral.

The keys to creating a viral campaign for your small business, are practice, practice, practice, and still more practice.

Through this you get better (with practice) AND you get more stuff out there for the world to see.

Practice this and see it happen!

Create and post videos on your accounts

Create interesting videos on your small business and post them on social media networks. Many people prefer watching videos instead of reading content on business’s website.

Keep them short, offer useful information, and don’t be too overtly selling. Put yourself in the perspective of the person watching the video. They care about their issues and problems much more than they care about you (if they care about you at all). So don’t talk about yourself.

Videos will widen your visitors who view, understand and respond positively to your small business.

Use scheduling systems on social media

As a small business owner who may get busy with other commitments, you may not have time to be on social media to share posts on Instagram, Facebook, etc.

If your small budget does not allow you to hire someone to manage your small business social media accounts, use social media scheduling systems.

With social media, get your products name in the public eye.
