How to optimize your website properly for customers

3 ways your customers will search for you on the search engines

Of all the current online marketing strategies small businesses follow, the one with the best long term ROI comes from adapting Search Engine Optimization strategies.

The goal here is to attract people to your website via organic search.

This is done primarily by creating content on your website that is relevant to the audience you wish to attract.

Understand how people search helps you create better content.

Browsing

Some people have problems and do not know exactly what to name the problem. They start browsing the internet by searching for various descriptions of the problem.

You have an idea of what problems your customers have through your interactions with them.

Publish solutions.

And when you do so be careful to use various wording and phrases to describe the problems.d

Different people use different words and phrases in their searches.

Providing content that is properly optimized for your online marketing strategy helps attract potential customers to your website. Therefore, your website should be filled with relevant information describing problems your customers have and how you help them solve their problems.

Location search

Once customers have landed on some website and they have started looking for information, they will use filter words to get the best solution.

They will use location filter to get local businesses.

for example (looking for a plumber in Austin Texas)

Put your business ahead of your competitors by utilizing location-based keywords. Optimize your website optimization to generate more qualified leads.

Remember to use commonly used neighborhood names. For example, San Jose California is a very large city geographically. Someone who lives in San Jose is not likely to search for “Plumber in San Jose” as they might find one too far way to matter to them. Instead they search for “Evergreen Plumber” or “Berryessa Plumber” or “Cambrian Plumber” as those searches are more meaningful to those (those being the names of various neighborhoods in San Jose.

Product/ Service-based Search

Now that customers have identified their possible local solutions, they will do a product/service search. Make your business a trusted institution. Provide quality content on your website and strive to collect positive review. Be proactive about this and ask customers to post them. Some will.
