Why is Daily Fresh Content a Great Search Engine Optimization Technique?

Consistency of Publishing is Key

Google (and the other search engines) really like websites that are updated daily, and the more often, the better.

It’s an incredibly effective Search Engine Optimization Technique.

Daily Fresh Content = Consistency

And as stated above, the importance of consistency can not be over stated.

Critical Search Signals

While there are many, the four search engine optimization techniques listed below are much more important than most:

Sites with more pages rank higher.

In terms of formatting for search engines, formatting to be scanned easily (which in turn makes them easy to read), and in terms of the usefulness of the information provided.

The more often you update your website, the higher it ranks.

How long has your website been in existence.

Finding Ideas for Daily Fresh Content

My students sometimes (often actually) tell me that it’s hard to produce high quality fresh content every day. Heck if it was easy everyone would be doing it.

Since it’s critical to SEO success, you need to stand above the crowd. You need to find a way.

If It Wasn’t for Deadlines, Nothing Would Ever Get Done

While that’s intended to be a bit of a joke, deadlines do help us focus and get stuff done. The psychological effect is something I don’t personally understand, but it’s something I put to good use.

In short very tight deadlines WILL improve your content marketing.

Because it forces you to become more disciplined, which in turn causes you to find more efficient ways to get things done.

Deadlines Are Your Friend

So don’t fight them. Instead impose them on yourself. Start by publishing one fresh blog post every night at midnight (use the scheduler). Then once you get that down, increase it to two. After 5 to 7 months you’ll be amazed at the increase in organic traffic on your website.
