Yes you need to nurture leads once they enter the funnel, but without a source a quality leads who is there to nurture?

While it’s true there are key components that every sales funnel should consider, without a steady stream of high quality leads, why does it matter how well your funnel is optimized?

Below are tips to increase the lead flow to your business.

Blogging

Don’t laugh. Blogging services are sold to businesses at $5K per month up under the name of Inbound Marketing. The core activity of Inbound Marketing is publishing fresh content that your desired audience finds to be useful.

Blogging improves your sites SEO and raises the authority of your site as you publish more and more quality content.

Social Media

Having a social media presence is a great way for attracting potential customers to your business website. Make sure when you publish your content, videos, info graphic etc, you share it on your social media accounts.

Social media also provides an avenue where you can interact with your potential customers and other industry institution.

Remember that the more active you are on social media, the more popular your page will become and the more traffic your site will get.

Social media also has a supporting role with SEO. The SEO of your site directly benefits from back links and blog post comments. While social media isn’t either of those, social media exposes your content to more people, thereby increasing the odds of people liking it enough to link to it and comment upon it.

Gated Content

Gated content is used for conversion. Gated content is often used to turn your visitors into leads.

Your audience provides some pieces of information in exchange for something of value: an eBook, access to an educational video, etc.

Email

Email is NOT a lead generation mechanism. With email, you nurture your leads by following up with them and building a stronger relationship.

Tip, provide your prospects with something of value at every step in the sales process, even if that value is validation that others love what you sell. That has value.
