Solving Problems Improves Your Inbound Marketing Lead Generation

Want a Loyal Following? Solve Their Problems

The core activity of Inbound Marketing is generating and publishing useful and interesting content, in fairly small easily digestible bite sized chunks, at frequent intervals, for an extended period of time.

This post focuses on what is meant by “useful and interesting”.

Why do you go on the web to do searches? To answer questions? To find solutions to problems? To learn “how to”?

Your prospects and customers do the same.

A Few Examples of Solving Problems

If you sell products that help people do things, publish articles, complete with pictures and or videos, that show how they solve their problems with your products.

Do you sell a product that pulls hair clogs out of drains? Refinishes and reseal decks? Reseals granite countertops? Protects car bodies from ultra violet damage?

If so, you can easily create a series of blog posts with pictures and or videos that shows someone how to do their needed task with your products.

If you provide these as services, you should STILL generate and publish these instructional how to videos because while not every wants to do these tasks themselves, everyone wants to work with someone whom they believe knows how to do it. Your blog posts with pictures and videos will show them you do.

Do you sell something more abstract? Estate planning services? Real Estate services? Tax planning services?

The same concept holds true.

One blog post answers one question and/or shows one “how to”. Then publish as many as you can.
