Relative to implementing Calls to Action in your web posts and your web pages, please please please make them both easy to see and easy to do.

Although it is “salesy” to be blatantly selling something via your website, you are trying to sell something via your website, aren’t you?

So why shy away from being a little salesy.

Be upfront with your audience. If they’re interested in buying your products or services, not only will they not mind a clearly labeled Call to Action (CTA) button, they’ll appreciate it. Anyone who does find it annoying is not a prospect of yours anyway. Let them move on in peace.

You want to make it easy on your prospects? Then make your CTAs easy to see and easy to do.

I use the MaxButtons plugin, but there are others. It creates a CTA button at the bottom of my posts that are easy to spot, hard to miss, and clearly state what action I’m recommending you take.

Help your prospects help you. Create clear easy to spot CTA buttons with clear instructions about what you want them to do, and make it easy to do that.
