How to Increase small business website conversion rate

Increasing your conversion rates is extremely crucial.

You can double the number of leads your business receives through your website in the following ways: 1) Double the amount of traffic to your website. 2) Double your website conversion rate. Or 3) Some combination of the above.

If the conversion rate of your website is less than 2%, the easiest way to increase your lead flow is to increase your website conversion rate.

But… for small businesses, there are many factors to consider to increase the conversion rate. In this post I focus on how to increase website conversion rate using trust.

Increasing trust

People may not buy products or service from you because of the following reasons:

  1. They don’t have money
  2. They don’t need your product
  3. They don’t trust you

Ading trust features to your business website will see your conversions increase.

So how do you makes people trust your small business website?

Build your website credibility by adding testimonials. This helps you show your audience that other people are confident in what you provide.

Underline the expertise in your small business in relation to the product or service you offer

Identify the experts in your small business and let their authority show. You do this by public displays of their expertise. Blog posts with their names on it, videos in which they explain things, etc.

Also, recognize those who are affiliated with your small business (your extended team if you will) and make it very clear so your audience can see.

Also, within your website content, remember not to link to websites that are not credible.

Note that your business website trust can be affected by the websites that you link to.

The most important point of you doing business is to help people  to decide to buy

And most of us prefer to do business with people we know, like, and trust. You can project all three through your website with effective content.I
