To succeed online, small businesses need to attract more traffic to their websites, ands generate more leads in order to make more sales.

Getting more traffic is important but if you don’t convert this traffic into leads your traffic will be of no use.

So what you need to do is to make your website be able to attract traffic AND convert visitors into leads using the right channels.

The following are ways of increasing your leads easily.

Attract your leads

You can attract your lead using a webinar, an eBook or even a discount. The idea is to get their contact information as you give them something for free. Email addresses are highly valuable as email is the cheapest channel to communicate with your audience, nurturing them and ultimately converting them into paying customers.

Driving traffic to your Landing Page

For great search engine optimization you publish often (AND you do it right).

Each blog post contains a Call to Action that directs people to your landing pages.

Landing pages provide something of value (an eBook maybe) in exchange for contact information.

Always test various landing pages with different information and note the ones that convert better.

Use Social Media networks

Use social media to increase awareness of your brand, and to generate leads.

Social media is important when you employ all the strategic efforts that are required.

Remember social media is mostly branding and some lead generation. Share but don’t overshare.
