How can you build trust with your customers?

How to engage and maintain your current potential customers

Engaging your prospects and customers is one of the most important factors when creating a successful marketing campaign.

When the prospect has become a customer it is important to engage and maintain them. Your relationship didn’t end, it just started.

Your current customers are your reviewers, success stories, evangelists, and demonstrators of how much you are worth.

Current customer’s engagement continues the relationship you have created with them throughout the buying cycle.

The following are ways on how to maintain and engage your current customers:

Use nurturing strategies

Keep your current customers updated with nurturing campaigns. Let them know of your new products, promotions and special offers. This is fairly easy with marketing automation software packages, which are now available in price points for any size business (including free for people with small lists).

Share love with your current customers

When holing an event or having a session of conferences, engage your current customers by giving them an opportunity to speak. This is a critical way of building trust with your prospects.

Create a platform for your customers

Make it possible for your customers to come together and engage one another to build a community around your product or service. You can do this inexpensively by using a WordPress bulletin board plugin.

Stay in touch with your customers on a regular basis

Let your current customers know that you are interested in their success. Regular checkins helps you stay on top of their minds.

Every time you are engaging with your customers, always let them know their success is important to you, and ask some open ended questions to prompt them to tell you what is working for them and where they need help.
