How to create a converting landing page with essential elements

While there is no one size-fits-all guide to creating a high converting landing page, there are essential elements to consider which all high converting landing pages share.

In this article, we go through some of the essential elements of a landing page.

Headline

Keep your headline short and concise. Remember that the headline is the first thing that your visitor sees. Ensure that your headlines states gives them a reason to learn more.

Value proposition

Explain the value you offer to your customers in the simplest and clearest way possible.

Use bullet points to list these benefits so they’re easy to digest quickly.

Conversion Form

This is where a leads gives the information necessary for them to become a lead in exchange for some  resource (such as an eBook or white paper).

Images

Images capture the attention of your visitor. Images provides visual information faster than a headline or piece of text. This is the importance they bring to landing pages.

CTA

The main point of a landing page is to convert a website visitor into a lead, and studies show that a button that loads a form converts better than a form. So you need a CTA button that loads your form.

Make you visitors click your CTA button by making it visually obvious and putting a label in it that tells them exactly what they get in exchange. For an example, look at the CTA button below this blog post. While this blog post is NOT a landing page, the idea of the CTA button is the same.
