Converting visitors to customers using landing pages

How to convert browsers to customers using landing pages.

Landing Pages for small business are web page that directs a visitor toward a specific sales action. Basically, landing pages gets your customers from browsing to taking action.

As a Small business, your landing pages is sort of the nerve center of information about your product or service that you offer.

Other pages (blog posts, social media updates, email’s, etc) take people to landing pages and the landing page is where the specific offer is made.

Landing pages are very essential. They’re where website visitors become leads.

Optimizing your Landing Pages is very important, as they are the doorway through which anonymous website visitors become named people with specific interests and needs.

What your landing page says has a huge impact on how many visitors become leads.

Content for Your Landing Page

When creating a landing page for your small business, the most important thing is have a clutch headline. Make sure that it grabs your reader’s attention.

Next is to identify (as concisely as possible) why they should care about your product or service. What’s in it for them? Why should they leave their contact information?

Landing pages always contain a Call-to-Action

So what are the impact of Calls-to-Action?

With an effective landing page on your small business website, create a call to action that is visibly hard to miss, clearly states what they get for taking action, and clearly identifies HOW the action is to be taken.

For an example of a well designed landing page, click the CTA button at the bottom of this blog post. As you might expect, it takes you to a landing page.

A well designed Call-to-Action makes the difference between the visitor becoming a lead or staying anonymous.

To reiterate (or to restate), be clear, be obvious, and keep it simple.

Positioning your small business Landing Page

Every landing page should “stand alone” which means it needs no other pages to be enticing enough to generate leads.

If you have different “lead bait” such as more than one eBook, or a good “how to” video, or whatever, you’ll want to create one landing page for each.

Only ever make one offer on one landing page.
