Email Marketing Works in Generating Website Conversions and Sales

Social Media Experts Question Social Media Conversions

Even with defining conversion as “the website visitor takes the desired action” (which could be to sign up for an email newsletter or download an eBook and not necessarily makes a purchase), social media experts are hard pressed to provide data demonstrating that social media marketing updates generate conversions.

I attended a meeting of social media experts about a year ago and asked if anyone had any data showing social media generates website conversions. The response I got from the meetup leader was he too would like to see such data.

Email Marketing Does Convert

Businesses are sometimes shy about revealing specifics of how well email marketing generates conversions, but there is no end to the number of testimonials from customers swearing it does. See the links below.

I could go on, but you get the point. The number of stories of email marketing generating website conversions and sales is beyond number.
